Vespa VL3T

I purchased this VL3T in parts.  The frame is good but someone somewhere along the line decided to strip it down to bare metal and put some primer on it.  A decision about painting is down the road.  For now we start with parts, engine work and those fun mechanical tasks.

Below are some shots from day 1 in the garage.  I will try to break out the component systems of the bike using the bar to the left.  Engine. Body. Electrical and then possibly some sub groups from there.  Cruise around and enjoy the process of watching what happens to this Vespa VL3T

Restoring this old VL3T is going to be fun!  Maybe a rat look?
