A few years ago I stumbled on a VL1T in great condition and original paint.  I worked it pretty good for a while and even had a decent blog going which you can see here:

In the end I got stuck on the engine and distracted with other projects so I sold it.  I have regretted that sale every day since.  Finding an original paint VL1T in solid condtion will not happen again.

So several years later I purchased a VL3T.  Not original paint and not the VL1 but it will be fun.  These pages will be lots of photos documenting the process in great detail.
